Ukraine is looking for a new round of peace talks with Russia

Ukraine has proposed a new round of peace talks with Russia, said President Volodymyr Zelensky, in a step to restart the negotiations last month.

Rustem Umerov, Senior Security Officer, has offered to meet the Russian team next week, Zelensky said in his evening address and added that everything had to be done to get an armistice.

Zelenksy also repeated his willingness to meet Russia's Vladimir Putin from face to face. “A meeting at the management level is required to really secure peace,” he said.

The proposal was made after the Ukraine of Russia had been hit with another widespread air bombing, in which three people were killed.
