But he had a couple too many blemishes on the map and frustrations cooked over. One of these bogeys came on Par-4 14, one of the hardest holes during the week, but he brought an incredibly reliable moment for amateur golfers around the world.

Bobby Mac met his approach to the green and did not record his approach cleanly. He pushed his club in Royal Portrush in the lawn and could only see how he boomed in the air for a few seconds before he got down again. Talk about an impressive throw.
