Woman in Springfield was fatally shot

Springfield – The police in Springfield examines a fatal shootout on the southeast side of the city at the weekend.

On July 19, the officials in the 1900 Block of the Holly Drive were called to a residence at around 3:30 a.m.

There they found a woman who had been shot.

She was brought to the HSHS St. Johns Hospital for treatment, but she did not survive.

Holly Drive is located between the streets of Laurel and Ash, directly on the Taylor Avenue.

Jim Allmon, forensic doctor of Sangamon County, said an autopsy was planned.
