Army leader started an examination after the identity of soldiers in the SAS was unveiled in a new data injury.

Details about the elite unit, part of the British special units, are usually kept so secret that their members are excluded life by discussing their participation, unless they receive prior approval.

Walker said: “The security of our people is of the greatest importance and we take every violation very seriously.

“[As a result of this incident,] I have directed an immediate review in our data exchange agreements with our regimental and corps associations to ensure that there are appropriate instructions and protective measures to best support the important work that you do. “
