New Age | IU provides public announcements to help the student's death examination

The authorities of the Islamic University in Kushia issued a public announcement to apply for information to support the continuous investigation of the death of a student, Sajid Abdullah, the Al-Quran and Islamic Studies department.

Sajid's body was recovered from a pond near the Shah Azizur Rahman Hall on July 17th. He lived in Shahed Ziur Rahman Hall and came from Ghattail in Tangail.

A press release signed by Professor M. Amtaz Hossain, Dean of the Faculty of the Arts, said that the university administration was obliged to have a fair and transparent examination.

Students and people with relevant information or evidence were asked to submit it in writing to the IU or via WhatsApp to 01715210012 or 01716053596 within 72 hours.

Separate investigative committees were formed by the university and the Hall management.

In response to the incident, over 1,000 students organized a protest on Saturday to block the administration building and reduce electricity to demand justice.

Your requirements include campus-wide lighting, CCTV coverage, campus safety, border wall construction and restricted entry for outsiders.

The university authorities have assured that all information is carefully checked and an investigation report is submitted in due course.
