That’s why there is no test for the release

New year, new luck: Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, the new shooter in the series, is in the starting blocks. After the disappointing Modern Warfare 3, Activision and developer studio Treyarch want to deliver again. As usual, the gaming experience is divided: an action-packed campaign, which this time is supposed to resemble a spy thriller, is just as much of a focus as multiplayer and the popular Zombies mode.

Compared to Infinity Ward last year, Treyarch had over three years to develop the shooter. For this reason, among other things, the story should be longer than its predecessors. But the first negative points have already become public. On PlayStation 5, Black Ops 6 players will once again be unable to obtain a Platinum trophy. As was the case last year, the problem lies with CoD HQ, the launcher of the entire application, which contains all the final parts.

What is the CoD Black Ops 6 campaign about?

Black Ops 6 continues the story of 2020’s Black Ops Cold War. The campaign takes place, among other things, during the Gulf War in 1991 and brings back well-known characters. In the trailers we finally got to see CIA agents Russell Adler and Frank Woods.

Well-known personalities such as former US President Bill Clinton also appear in the scenes already shown and seem to be an important part of the plot. Compared to the Modern Warfare series, the historical parts of Treyarch are much more crazy and varied. We are also excited to see what surprises await us this time.

Where is the Black Ops 6 test?

However, we still have to be patient before playing through. Because we have not yet received a test sample. When asked, it was said that we can only expect review codes on Friday, i.e. on the day of the release. This means that unfortunately we cannot offer you a test for publication.

Our shooter experts will then do their best to provide you with detailed impressions in the next few days. We break down campaign, multiplayer and zombies and examine the different modes separately. We already have an eye on the start of the new Warzone, after all the Battle Royale mode will appear a little later.

When is the Black Ops 6 test coming?

Our plan is to complete testing the campaign and multiplayer in both article and video form by October 31st.
