Former “Let’s Dance” star Sabrina Mockenhaupt: 80,000 euros – just gone!

She wanted to fulfill a dream and launch her own sports label. But now Sabrina Mockenhaupt, 43, unfortunately looks stupid. The long-distance runner has run out of steam financially. She’s had two years to digest everything, but the disaster won’t let her go. Had war happened? Mocki, as she is affectionately called by her fans, had her goods produced in Turkey. But the suppliers apparently didn’t pay attention to the demands of the ex-“Let’s Dance” star: The required breathability of the clothing? None! The quality? Deficient. Nevertheless, the athlete had to accept the goods. At least 80,000 euros allegedly went down the drain.

“I was speechless at first, then I logged out of Instagram for two months and was really sick at first. So really sick,” Sabrina reports about the bad time after the business disaster in an interview with RTL. The goods were simply unsaleable by their standards – actually. Because now the 43-year-old will make something good come out of the misery. After sorting out the rejects, they sold the remaining stock for less than the purchase value and donated half of the proceeds to the RTL foundation “We help children”. Mocki remains optimistic: “I can only sell it now for a good cause, otherwise I still wouldn’t have a good feeling about it. I’m really a do-gooder. It is like that and I am positive, crazy and positively naive.”

But she doesn’t want to give up her label dream. “We are now on completely healthy and solid feet and I can sleep well every evening. You don’t make a lot of money now, but you don’t throw anything away anymore, like here.”

Mandy Moore shares special backstage selfie

Mandy Moore, 40, became a mother again a few weeks ago: at the end of September, the actress announced that she and Taylor Goldsmith, 39, had become parents after their sons August “Gus” Harrison, 3, and Oscar “Ozzie” Bennett Goldsmith, 1 have become a daughter – Louise Everett Goldsmith. Since then, the singer has enjoyed her family life and also incorporates it into her everyday work.

The actress continues to attend industry events and also hosts the podcast “That Was Us” with her colleagues Sterling K. Brown, 48, and Chris Sullivan, 44, which deals with their hit series “This Is Us”. Now the new mother of three shares a photo on her Instagram story that shows her behind the scenes of the podcast or an event. A breast pump is connected to the snapshot. “Backstage,” the proud mom writes about the selfie.

Hape Kerkeling’s first appearance in front of Otto Waalkes was a failure

When Hape Kerkeling, 59, was still dreaming of his big breakthrough as a comedian, Otto Waalkes, 76, was already filling large halls and winning numerous awards. It seemed all the more surreal to Kerkeling when he returned home from school one day and his grandmother told him: “Do you know who called? Otto, Otto Waalkes!” The comedy legend saw Kerkeling’s performance in the “Talentschuppen”, a talent show for singers, and then wanted to invite him to a live performance in Hamburg.

“And I completely ruined the evening! “Nobody laughed – except Otto,” says Hape Kerkeling on the MagentaTV talk show “Bestbestellung”, as “Bunte” reports. After the unpleasant appearance, the newcomer was ordered to Waalkes’ table. “I thought, ‘Oh God, he’ll think of his part,’” Kerkeling admits. But instead of malice, he learns motivating words. “He set me up again that evening, then we went around the houses in Hamburg and that is something I will never forget to this day,” the entertainer remembers with a smile.

Billie Eilish injured herself at her concert

Billie Eilish, 22, actually just wanted to leave the stage at the “Madison Square Garden” arena in New York. She had just waved happily goodbye to the concert-goers. But then the “Bad Guy” singer jumped down the stage exit a little too enthusiastically – her fans can only watch as she falls down the stairs.

The fall left her with a large bruise on her leg, which the 22-year-old showed off in her Instagram story. Other than that, thankfully she seems to be doing well. Billie is currently on the Hit Me Hard And Soft tour, named after her third album. It is the first tour on which her brother and producer Finneas, 27, is not there. In spring 2025 she will come to Europe, where she will hopefully be able to enjoy accident-free shows.

Singer Pink has to postpone several concerts

Fans of Pink, 45, have to be strong now: the singer has to cancel several concerts. She reports the news to her followers on Instagram and makes it clear that it affects her appearances in “Lincoln, Sioux Falls, Milwaukee and Des Moines”. “I am so disappointed to have to share this news with you, but we are working on finding new dates for these shows,” explains the “Get The Party Started” singer. Fans should keep an eye out for updates in the near future.

“Thank you for your understanding. I’m really looking forward to seeing you very soon,” she writes in conclusion. The 45-year-old does not reveal why exactly the shows are being postponed. As early as summer 2024, they had to cancel concerts on their “Summer Carnival” tour due to health problems. It remains unclear whether health will again play a role in the current news.

Marie Reim has “always greatly admired” father Matthias Reim

The love of her parents Matthias Reim, 66, and Michelle, 52, was not meant to last. Marie Reim, 24, was raised by her mother, but she never held a grudge against her father. “I was a child of a separation and grew up mainly with my mom. And of course I rarely saw my dad because he was always on tour. I thought that was a shame, but I was never angry with him,” the pop singer now explains to “Bild”.

Today she occasionally appears on stage with her father. On Sunday evening the two performed his hit “Hello, I would like to know how you are” on the VOX program “Sing meine Schlager”. The song has a very special meaning for Marie. “I always sang the song to my mom as a child because I wanted dad to call,” she remembers. “I also wrote him many letters telling him how much I love him and what a great singer and songwriter he is. I’ve always really admired him.”
