Stephen Kings 'it' receives a very expensive collector's edition

Premium Independent Book Publisher The Folio Society publishes a special version of Stephen Kings Classic from 1986 Clown Horror Novel IT On July 15th. And now, it's not cheap.

The special edition that is printed in a small run that is only limited 500 copies is illustrated by hand and resets a whopping $ 825. At the time of this font a vanilla -child copy of IT At Amazon, only 13 US dollars -every penny (wise), by the way -costs -but if you use this option, you will not receive all the advertised extras of the upcoming physical craftswoman of the Folio Society:

“This is it as horror fans have never levers. Approved by King Himelfa, The Edition features haunting original Artwork from Jim Burns, Tattered, Blood-Soaked Design by Typographer David Curtis, and a Brand-New Introduction by None Other Can Oscar-Winning Director Guillermo del Toro. From Untettling Endpapers to a Stark Crimson Balloon on the Slipcase, Every Detail Pays Tribute to the Terror That Haunted Dreams and Stalked Wastewater Tenades for almost four decades.

Obviously, this type of thing is only aimed at serious book collectors, and I am sure that people with this type of literary taste (and cash) may not make an eye for the expenditure of almost 1,000 US dollars for a single novel. That means,, IT is one of my favorite books of all time and even I am tries to get such a unique special edition. The additional aesthetics and the design are undoubtedly appealing, but I am mainly interested in Guillermo del Toro's additional words.

I have heard that he is a King fan, and to this day I wonder why del Toro has never adapted the work of the legendary Maine author to the film. The two seem to be a natural creative pairing, so I'm really interested in reading this new one IT Introduction. To hell, I would really love to see how del Toro makes a real stab IT, Although the material was adapted until death, it returned to the TV miniseries with Tim Curry.

Admittedly, none of the previous adjustments really hit me home, although HBOs welcome to Derry a little promising. Although a del Toro takes over IT Would be convincing, I would probably prefer to concentrate on one of the less known royal stories, as maybe maybe maybe Duma key. Or frankly we can get one The excursion Film already?

It will be fascinating to see how fast this IT Limited expenses are sold out if they are listed at the beginning of next week. I will watch from the sergeant from the edge of my old, worn paperback and hope that I don't see any villain balloons.
