All-star closer Aroldis Chapman's greatest value is with Red Sox

All-star closer Aroldis Chapman's greatest value is with Red Sox

“It means a lot for me to be here again,” said Chapman about a translator on Monday. “The whole preparation and the hard work have been ongoing for me. The representation of my team here is great.”

Chapman is the only Sox player who could come into play on Tuesday. Alex Bregman will not play to avoid his tense right quad. Garrett Crochet threw nine innings on Saturday and will only be a spectator.

Chapman strives to take up.

“Ninth inning,” he said, smiling at the idea.

Chapman earns the opportunity. He converted 17 out of 18 rescue opportunities this season and allowed five runs with 19 goals over 38 Innerings, while he was 58.

A jug that is once susceptible to walks has only published 10.

“Hard work in the low season,” he said. “I had to be ahead of the battery and throw strikes. It was a big deal that I had to repair.”

Chapman imagined so well that there were suggestions that the Sox should exchange it while its value is so high.

The Yankees exchanged Chapman against the Cubs in 2016 and received four players for it. Gleyber Torres belonged to this route, who played for the Yankees for seven years and was twice all-star.

The Yankees also received the right helper Adam Warren, who performed in 99 games with an average of 2.68 run in three seasons.

You signed Chapman back as Free Agent after helping the Cubs to win the World Series.

In 2023, the Royals Chapman exchanged for Texas for the Outfield -interested Roni Cabrera and Lfthander Cole Ragans.

That was a theft. The 27-year-old Ragans has been with an ERA of 3.35 in 54 starts since 18 to 14 and was an all-star last season.

Here is the difference. The Yankees 2016 were 51-48 when they exchanged Chapman in fourth place in the division. They also had Dellin Betances and Andrew Miller available for closure.

The 2023 Royals were 23-59 when they made the trade, hopelessly out of the dispute.

The Red Sox are three first place in Al East and hold the second wildcard square.

You also have no more waiting in the wings.

Justin Slaten is on the injured list. Garrett Whitlock has had 10 career parades since 2023. Greg Weissert has three parades this season, but also five more.

Liam Hendriks, as soon as an all-star closer is on the injured list and has not set up since May 27th.

Jordan Hicks, who was purchased by the Giants in the trade with Rafael Devers, has been closed since 2023. He has also had an ERA of 4.83 ERA since 2024 and the Sox are his fourth team since 2023.

Then there is the following: The Red Sox have not reached the playoffs since 2021. Eleven American League teams have during this time.

The SOX had no four-year drought since 1991-94 after the season. The Chapman trade would send the players who do not believe the front office in them.

The news of the fan base would be that the vow of the team to compete this season was nothing more than spin. In context, Trading Devers was justified that he was not ready to help the team by playing the first basis.

Trading with Chapman against potential customers would not be justifiable, unless the SOX will collect in the next two weeks.

Chapman also wants to stay. The SOX won 10 games in a row and he recorded two parades.

“We are hot, very hot,” he said. “The jugs do their job; the rackets do their job. It is a great combination.”

Chapman attributes Alex Cora to help him have success.

“First of all, he is Latin and I can communicate with him at any time. Second, he takes care of his players. He takes care of me and gives me trust,” he said.

Chapman admitted that he was concerned about the direction of the team when devers was traded.

“My first reaction was what happened here?” He said. “But that's something I can't control, so you just keep going.”

His plan is now to go until October.

“This is a good team,” said Chapman, who also earned a ring with the 23 Rangers. “I think we'll get better. I like what we do.”
